CRC TR 224 EPoS | Summer School on Recent Advances in Mechanism and Information Design: Theory and Applications

The lecturers are Benny Moldovanu (University of Bonn) and Zvika Neeman (Tel Aviv University) 

The School will take place at the Jugendstilhotel Trifels in Annweiler, Germany, from Monday, August 19 to Friday, August 23, 2024. 
Kurhaus Trifels in Annweiler, Germany is situated in a nice wine-growing area between Heidelberg and Strasbourg, about two hours by train from Frankfurt Airport.

Besides frontal lectures in the mornings, there will be tutoring sessions and opportunities for participants to briefly present their own work about the school’s topics. Please mention in the application whether you would like to make a short presentation (of about 20 minutes) and please include a draft (this may be incomplete) of the respective paper with your application. Presentations are optional rather than mandatory.

Deposit: A payment of 300 EUR needs to be transferred by admitted students within two weeks of notification (the deposit will be reimbursed after attending the whole summer school).

Travel expenses, board & lodging: Lodging and meals during the summer school will be covered; travel expenses will be partially reimbursed if overseas flights are required, reimbursement details will be made available upon acceptance (attending the whole summer school is required).

Childcare: Limited childcare facilities might be available for participants with young children upon request.

Application: Please register online and upload your curriculum vitae as well as a statement of purpose (maximum one page). Please also upload a draft of your work in case you would like to present it. Please arrange for a brief letter of support by your adviser or other relevant faculty (mandatory) to be sent to crctr224@uni-bonn.de. The letter can be informal. 

All application materials, including the letter of support, must be received by June 02, 2024.
